Peter M. Jennings
Peter M. Jennings was born and raised in Washington, New Jersey. Following high school, Peter moved to Philadelphia and attended Temple University where he graduated cum laude with a B.A. in History. Peter later earned his J.D. from Villanova University, where he was a board member of the Pro Bono Society and clerked for prominent judges in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Peter moved to Florida after graduating from Villanova University and worked for regional and national personal injury firms where he successfully helped hundreds of clients with their insurance claim disputes and secured millions for property and personal injury related damages. In 2024, Peter joined GunterFirm and uses his experience to help both employers and employees navigate employment related litigation, including lawsuits alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (failure to pay minimum wages and overtime); unlawful harassment, discrimination and retaliation in violation of federal and state law; and breaches of contract for commissions or other earned wages.
Peter is admitted to the Florida Bar and a member of the Lee and Collier County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Collier County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section. In his spare time, Peter is passionate about playing guitar, music production, and studying music history. His other interests involve exercising and the natural beauty of Florida. He is actively involved in Southwest Florida community conservation efforts as a member of both the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.
